Stringer pallets get their name from the specific boards that are used to support the top and bottom deckboards of the pallet. Stringer boards are usually anywhere from 1 inch to 3 inches in thickness (width), with the most common 1.25 inches. Pallets can utilize any amount of stringers, depending on the needed unit load support and product dimensions.
